Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business in Heckington for a Counterbalance FLT Driver / Production Operative. The role combines 80% production line and warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment, with long-term employment prospects and a focus on reliability.

You will operate a Counterbalance forklift, support the production line, assist with bulk packaging, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-house licences not accepted).

• Physically fit due to manual handling involved.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment.

Counterbalance FLT Driver / Production Operative

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business based in Heckington for a Counterbalance FLT Driver / Production Operative to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The Role

This is a varied position, with approximately:

• 80% Production line and warehouse duties

Daily responsibilities include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse.
• Bulking off nuts into 1-tonne bulk bags and 25kg sacks.
• Supporting the production line with general manufacturing duties.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality and food safety.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

To be considered for this role you must:

• Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (In house not accepted)
• Be reliable, committed and looking for long-term employment.
• Be physically fit due to the manual handling involved.
Be comfortable working within a fast-paced food production environment.
• Have excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Have no allergies to peanuts or tree nuts.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 12 hour shifts
• 60 hours a week
• Two 30 Mins Breaks per shifts (one paid one unpaid)
