Job summary

QS Recruitment is recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers for an established fresh produce supplier in Carlton, Nottinghamshire. You will join a busy warehouse operation and be responsible for moving stock safely and efficiently, operating a counterbalance forklift, and loading and unloading vehicles.

This temporary role offers regular shifts, with nights/early mornings available and pay of £12.81 per hour. Up to 28 days’ paid holiday pro rata during your assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months’ recent warehouse or food production experience.
• Previous Counterbalance FLT experience.
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting items up to 10kg.
• Able to work in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Good attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move goods.
• Load and unload vehicles and move stock around warehouse and yard.
• Support the wider warehouse team as required.
• Maintain high safety and accuracy standards.

Job Description

Looking for regular warehouse work with consistent shifts and the potential for a long-term opportunity? We are currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join an established fresh produce supplier based in Carlton, Nottinghamshire.

You’ll be joining a busy warehouse operation where you’ll be responsible for keeping stock moving safely and efficiently. Your duties will include operating a counterbalance forklift, moving goods around the warehouse and yard, and loading and unloading vehicles.

Alongside your FLT duties, you’ll support the wider warehouse team when required. The role is suited to someone who works well in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Duration: Regular work is available, with the opportunity to build a long-term position within the company.
