Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited in Preston Brook, Runcorn is seeking experienced Drivers Mates to join a high street retailer's delivery team. You will help deliver furniture and flat-pack items to homes, stores and businesses, ensuring items arrive safely and on time.

You will use a handheld scanner, coordinate with the driver, and call customers to confirm ETA. The role requires physical fitness and flexibility for a Tue-Sat pattern with early starts; immediate start after interview and

• Physically fit for manual handling and repetitive tasks.
• Good communication to inform customers of ETA.

• Inform customers of ETA by phone or contact as required.
• Assist driver to complete daily tasks and keep routes efficient.

Our client, a leading High Street retailer, is looking to recruit & add experienced Drivers Mates to their team.

The ideal candidates will;

• Deliver furniture & flat pack furniture to homes, stores & businesses
• Use handheld scanner / POD
• Call customers to inform customer of ETA
• Work alongside the driver to achieve daily tasks
• Any other associated tasks

The daily start times will vary from 0600 - 0730, and will be working on a Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern

Due to the nature of the role, applicants need to be physically fit

An immediate start is available after successful interview & induction.
