Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting Packers for their busy packing department in Runcorn. You will pack health vitamins and tablets, help run production lines and quality-check items for despatch.

We are seeking reliable, detail-minded team players with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Immediate starts available after successful interview, with overtime paid at x1.5 on weekdays and x2 on Sundays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• A good eye for detail to ensure accuracies with orders.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Packing health vitamins & tablets into tubes / blister packs
• Making sure production lines / machines are running correctly
• Assembling the packaging ready for packing
• Quality checking all packed products ready for despatch

Our client, a leading & well known manufacturer, is looking to recruit a number of dedicated and reliable Packers to work in their busy packing department.

The main duties will include:

• Packing health vitamins & tablets into tubes / blister packs
• Making sure production lines / machines are running correctly
• Assembling the packaging ready for packing
• Quality checking all packed products ready for despatch
• All other packing associated tasks

Skills / Attributes:

• A good eye for detail to ensure accuracies with orders
• Adhere to health & safety procedures on site
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

The working hours are on a weekly rotation:

• 0600 - 1415 Monday to Thursday & 0600 - 1200 on a Friday
• 1400 - 2215 Monday to Thursday & 1145 - 1745 on a Friday

Overtime is paid at attractive rates.

Overtime rules are as follows:

• x1.5 after 39 hours Monday to Friday
• x1.5 Saturdays (providing standard hours completed)
• x2 Sundays (providing Monday to Saturday worked)

This is an ongoing position, with potential of temp-to-perm opportunities after a qualifying period

Experience working within a similar role is essential.
