Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is recruiting a CNC Machinist for their Poole site. You will program, set and operate Mazak CNC machinery (including Mazak Integrex) to manufacture components to drawing specs.

The role offers a permanent contract from day one, a 4 day week, private medical insurance after probation, contributory pension scheme and life assurance, with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

Job description

Our client is a specialist in innovative downhole technology for the global energy industry. They design and manufacture tools to solve current and emerging challenges for the oil and gas, gas storage, CCUS, hydrogen storage and geothermal production sectors.

They are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join their Machine Shop based at their site in Poole. You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC machinery including Mazak Integrex, to manufacture components ensuring all work is completed to engineering drawing and a high-quality standard.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Permanent contract from day one (subject to probation period)
