Job summary

Co-op Group in Pontypridd is hiring a Customer Team Leader for a part-time role at £14.48 per hour. The position involves a 16-hour week with regular overtime and a permanent contract, with a mix of early morning to late evening shifts and some weekends.

Duties include working on our Post Office counters and delivering strong customer service. You will lead a small team, motivate staff, ensure smooth store operations, contribute to merchandising and stock accuracy, and help drive local community

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or team management is preferred but not essential.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills are required to run a small team on shift.
• Merchandising and stock accuracy help drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.

Location: 45 Robert Street Ynysybwl, Pontypridd, CF37 3DY

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: A mix of opening shifts from 5.45am, and closing shifts to 10pm, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift. Either, Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday. We're happy to discuss your availability further at interview. Duties will include working on our Post Office Counters

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

What you'll do
