Job summary

Norse Care is seeking a Care Support Worker for nights at Mayflower Court in Norwich. The role offers 28.88 hours per week with the potential for additional hours, and a rate of £14.06 per hour (Nights) plus enhancements.

Experience in care is welcome or new to the industry. Full training and accredited courses are funded, with career progression and a focus on improving lives within our dementia-supported community.

A day in the life:

As a Care Support Worker you will assist with personal care and support tasks, enabling our service users to make informed choices, promoting their independence and dignity in line with their person-centred care plan.Working as part of a team, you will build strong relationships with your colleagues and the service users, participating and supporting with wellbeing events and activities, and helping to promote a safe and engaging environment.Responding to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner and communicating with other medical professionals and community stakeholders as required.

Mayflower Court is our modern purpose-built care home in Norwich, part of the Bowthorpe Care Village. The home provides short-term and full-time care and support, specialising in care and support for people living with dementia.
