Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited in NR10 is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence. You will join a small, friendly team and handle a mix of warehouse and forklift duties.

Hours are 38.75 per week, Monday to Friday, with pay at £13.50 per hour. This role offers the potential for longer-term work and ongoing assignments in a busy 3PL warehouse.

Qualifications

• Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous forklift operating and warehouse experience.
• Physically able to lift and handle items weighing 10-15 kg.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles using the FLT where required.
• Move, stack and store pallets and stock in designated locations.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders.
• Receive, check and put away incoming deliveries.
• Support stock movements and general warehouse operations.
• Ensure goods are handled safely and accurately.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and hands-on Warehouse Operative with a valid

Counterbalance (CB) Forklift Truck (FLT) licence to join our small, friendly team at a third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse in the NR10 area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude and is happy to get stuck into a variety of warehouse and forklift duties.

What you'll be doing

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading vehicles using the FLT where required.
• Moving, stacking and storing pallets and stock in designated warehouse locations.
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
• Receiving, checking and putting away incoming deliveries.
• Supporting stock movements and general warehouse operations.
• Ensuring goods are handled safely and accurately.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures.

What we're looking for

• A valid and in-date

Counterbalance (CB) FLT licence.

• Previous forklift operating and warehouse experience.
• A chatty, approachable person who enjoys being part of a small, friendly team.
• Someone who is well-presented, reliable and punctual.
• A positive, practical attitude and good attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift and handle items weighing 10-15 kg safely.
• Own transport is essential due to the warehouse location.

The details

Location: NR10 area.

Pay: £13.50 per hour.

Hours: 08:30-17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding breaks.

Working hours: 38.75 hours per week.

Parking: Free parking available on site.

Duration: 2-3 weeks initially, with the possibility of a longer-term position.

Start: As soon as possible.
