Job summary

Dragons Breath Distillery LTD in Newport is seeking an Internal Events Host to welcome guests and support the smooth running of internal functions, tastings and corporate experiences. We are looking for a confident, friendly and professional Internal Events Host to join our team at a busy distillery. The role involves welcoming guests and supporting the smooth running of internal events, private functions, tastings and corporate experiences.

You will be responsible for creating a warm and professional atmosphere for guests, ensuring events run smoothly and providing an excellent level of customer service throughout their visit.

The role will include greeting and registering guests, assisting with event setup and preparation, guiding guests around the venue, supporting tastings and presentations, coordinating with the events and hospitality team, and responding to guest requests.

The successful candidate will be confident speaking to groups, well organised and comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment. Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service or visitor experiences is desirable.

The position may involve evening and weekend work, depending on the event schedule. Flexibility is therefore essential.

An income equivalent to or more than the National Minimum Wage (NMW) can be achieved and, depending upon the age of the successful applicant, a rate of pay equivalent to or more than the National Living Wage (when enacted) and as amended from time to time.
