Job summary

Rullion is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a major engineering project based at Dungeness. You will support delivery from concept through commissioning and handover, collaborating with engineers, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively and to the required standards.

The role requires strong technical knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering within an industrial plant, plus familiarity with engineering standards.

Qualifications

• HNC/degree (Level 5/6) in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering in an industrial plant environment.
• Strong understanding of applicable engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify project requirements and stakeholder needs.
• Contribute to Project Execution Plans, design and commissioning strategies.
• Support project optioneering and develop fit-for-purpose engineering solutions.
• Produce and approve technical specifications.
• Prepare modification proposals and act as a Nominated Responsible Engineer where required.
• Review contractor work instructions, method statements and risk assessments.
• Provide technical supervision of construction, commissioning and decommissioning activities.
• Approve as-built drawings and manage project handover.
