Job summary

Rullion is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major engineering project based at Dungeness. You will support the delivery of engineering projects from concept through to commissioning and handover, working with engineers, contractors and stakeholders to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance.

The role requires an HNC/degree or equivalent, plus experience in mechanical or electrical engineering within an industrial plant environment.

Qualifications

• HNC, degree or NQF Level 5/6 qualification or equivalent levels.
• Experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering role within an industrial plant environment.
• Understanding of relevant engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify project requirements and stakeholder needs.
• Contribute to Project Execution Plans, design and commissioning strategies.
• Support project optioneering and develop fit-for-purpose engineering solutions.
• Produce and approve technical specifications.
• Prepare modification proposals and act as a Nominated Responsible Engineer where required.
• Review contractor work instructions, method statements and risk assessments.
• Provide technical supervision of construction, commissioning and decommissioning activities.
• Approve as-built drawings and manage project handover.
