Job summary

Comxps Ltd seeks an experienced engineer for a nuclear/conventional project engineering role based at Dungeness. This on-site position operates a 4-day work week with no remote option.

The successful candidate will work under a contracting authority in a government client environment for an 18-month term and must meet the engineering qualification requirements described. Job description

Location: Dungeness – full time on site, 4 day week. (NO REMOTE WORKING)

Contracting Authority: Government Client

Contract Length: 18 months

Clearance: BPSS

Essential:

• Appropriate HNC, degree or National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level 5/6
• Experience in a practising disciplined Engineering role (Mechanical/Electrical) on industrial plant
• Nuclear and/or conventional project engineering experience
• Understanding of relevant Company and/or national engineering standards

Desirable:

• Working knowledge of the Safety Rules and working knowledge of risk assessment methodology
• Understanding of relevant Site Licence and Quality Management System requirements
• Working knowledge of CDM Designer role
• Contract Management experience
• Project delivery experience
• Membership of a relevant Engineering Institute
• Chartered Status
