Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Production Operative for a 1-month temporary contract in Wincanton. The role involves assembling and packing products, moving stock, basic metalwork, wiring assistance and building control panels.

You will maintain quality standards, inspect products, and ensure a safe, tidy workspace in line with Health & Safety procedures. Electrical crimping knowledge is a bonus but not essential; contract may be extended based on performance.

Qualifications

• Previous production, assembly or manufacturing experience beneficial.
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
• Able to work efficiently and maintain a good work rate.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety.
• Willingness to carry out a variety of duties as required.

Our client is looking for a Production Operative to join their team on an initial 1-month temporary contract, with the potential for an extension.

The role will involve a variety of production duties, including assembling and packing products, moving stock, basic metalwork, assisting with wiring and building control panels, and carrying out general production tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining quality standards, inspecting products, keeping your work area safe and tidy, and following Health & Safety procedures.

Electrical crimping knowledge and experience using wire cutters would be an advantage, but are not essential.
