Job summary

Meridian Business Support's client in the United Kingdom is seeking a Production Operative to join the team on an initial 1-month temporary contract, with the potential for extension. You will perform a variety of production duties including assembling and packing products, moving stock, basic metalwork, and assisting with wiring and building control panels.

You will also help maintain quality standards, inspect products, and keep your work area clean and safe by following Health & Safety

Qualifications

• Previous production, assembly or manufacturing experience beneficial.
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
• Able to work efficiently and maintain a good work rate.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and pack products to meet quality standards.
• Move stock around the production area as required.
• Assist with basic metalwork and wiring of control panels.
• Carry out general production tasks and maintain clean, safe workspace.
• Inspect products and follow Health & Safety procedures.
