Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is recruiting for a Production Operative in Dorset, Gillingham. You'll join a busy manufacturing site on the production line, gaining practical experience in a supportive environment with on-site parking.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with day hours, and the role is a temporary contract until September 2026. You will need good numeracy, a practical approach and the ability to work to GMP and hygiene standards; overtime may be required during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced factory or warehouse setting.
• Good numeracy and basic computer skills.
• Flexible and positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to recognise faults and resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Supporting production requirements with Line Leaders and Team Leaders.
• Operating machinery in packing and filling department.
• Ensuring materials are quality approved before use.
• Maintaining clean production equipment and work areas.
• Adjusting machinery and processes to meet specifications.
• Completing production schedules and quality control documentation.
• Working in line with GMP and hygiene standards.
