Finlay Jude Associates Limited is recruiting a Trainee Field Technician in Milton Keynes. The role covers the local area with full training and support to start a career in the water industry.

A full clean driving licence is required, and you will work days, 40 hours per week. You will learn to locate leaks on underground networks, assist repair gangs, and perform surveys as part of daily duties, with paperwork and data uploads using a laptop.

Qualifications

• Manual outdoor work background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage.
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services.
• Assist in survey/work not normally associated with day-to-day leak detection.
• Complete paperwork including time sheets, survey forms and leak details; data uploaded to a laptop.
• Possess basic computer skills for data entry on a laptop.
• Drive a company vehicle as required.

Trainee Field Technician - Milton Keynes

My client is recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians who will be covering your local area.

The successful candidate will be trained to find water leaks on the underground water networks.

This role is working days - 40 hours per week.

This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.

Trainee Field Technician responsibilities:

• To assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services
• Assist in survey work/project work not normally associated with day-to-day leak detection
• To assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties as required
• Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a laptop
• It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence as you are required to drive for the role.

Full training will be given on the following:

• EUSR Water Hygiene Training

This Trainee Field Technician role would suit candidates with the following:

• Drivers / Driving (Multi Drop, Meter Readers, Delivery Drivers)
• People with a manual working/outdoor background
