Finlay Jude Associates Limited is seeking a Trainee Field Technician to join the water industry in the Swindon area. The role involves day shifts, 40 hours per week, with full training provided to detect leaks on underground networks.

You will drive a company vehicle, support leak surveys, and assist in data entry and paperwork. A full driving licence is essential, and you may be subject to drug and alcohol testing during the assignment.

My client is recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians who will be covering your local area.

The successful candidate will be trained to find water leaks on the underground water networks.

This role is working days - 40 hours per week.

This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.

Trainee Field Technician responsibilities:

• To assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services
• Assist in survey work/project work not normally associated with day-to-day leak detection
• To assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties as required
• Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a laptop
• It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence as you are required to drive for the role.

Full training will be given on the following:

• EUSR Water Hygiene Training

This Trainee Field Technician role would suit candidates with the following:

• Drivers / Driving (Multi Drop, Meter Readers, Delivery Drivers)
• People with a manual working/outdoor background
