Job summary

Potens is hiring Support Workers in Middleton St George to assist adults with learning disabilities in a supported living setting. The role offers full-time hours, with shifts from 7am to 10pm and occasional sleep-in duties. Training and qualifications up to NVQ levels 2-5 are provided to support your professional growth.

Salary is £13.00 per hour with a sleep-in rate of £75 per night. The role promotes independence and financial assistance, with staff welfare benefits and a 24/7 Employee

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for Support Workers.

Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.

This role is based within a supported living service supporting two, potentially three gentlemen with learning disabilities and associated needs. The supported living service is set within a bungalow located in Middleton St George. All staff members receive thorough inductions and are led by an experienced and dedicated manager.

Please note: Interviews will be held at one of our supported living services in Darlington.

What you'll be doing:

• Support hours for the people who live with us vary according to individual care plans, and support is tailored around specific needs, so full flexibility is required. Shifts will take place between the hours of 7am and 10pm and will involve additional sleep ins. Weekend and bank holiday working is also required.
• Promoting independence and supporting with daily activities.
• Taking part in the chosen activities of the gentlemen who live with us.
• Supporting with finances, budgets, and shopping.
