Job summary

Tesco Shift Lead plays a pivotal role in guiding the store team to deliver outstanding customer experiences daily. You will coordinate shifts, support colleagues, and act as the go-to person for operational questions across departments.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.

You will need

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast‑paced retail environment.

• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
