Job summary

Tesco Shift Lead role in the United Kingdom involves leading a store team to deliver a great customer experience across all store areas. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day operations, coaching colleagues and modelling excellent service.

You may lead the store in the Manager’s absence and must adapt to changing conditions while building an inclusive team. Ideal candidates will have prior team leadership experience in retail, strong communication skills, and a passion for customer

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

You will need

• To be over 18 for this role.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer's needs are met.
• Build positive, long-lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
