Reactive Maintenance & PPM Electrician – EICR & Testing

Location: Croyden

Start date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, including a one-hour lunch break

Salary: Competitive salary + bonus + overtime + door-to-door travel pay

The Opportunity

Valoris Group Limited is recruiting an experienced Reactive Maintenance and PPM Electrician on behalf of a successful and growing electrical contractor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with strong commercial experience in EICRs, inspection and testing, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance.

The Role

Working across a range of commercial properties, you will ensure electrical installations remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

• Completing EICRs, electrical testing and certification
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Responding promptly to reactive maintenance issues and emergency callouts
• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns
• Identifying remedial work and advising clients on the condition of their electrical systems

You will also complete reports accurately, maintain high health and safety standards and deliver a professional service to every customer.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in commercial EICRs, testing and inspection
• City & Guilds 2391 or an equivalent inspection and testing qualification
• Strong reactive maintenance, PPM and fault-finding experience
• Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and safety standards
• Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel and occasionally work away

Salary and Benefits

• £50 payment plus double-time travel pay for out-of-hours callouts

You will receive 21 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by one day for each completed year of service up to 25 days.
