As a Host/Hostess & Patient Services Assistant, you will play an important role in providing a high-quality patient catering and domestic service to patients, Trust staff, and visitors. You’ll work directly with patients to provide a friendly and responsive service while helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment.

The role combines patient interaction, meal service, basic food preparation, and cleaning duties. You’ll take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and attend ward-based Community Meetings to understand and respond to patient needs.

You’ll also carry out routine and specialised cleaning tasks within patient areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene, food safety, and infection control are maintained.
