ISS Facilities Services is seeking a Catering Supervisor to manage the daily school catering operation, delivering high-quality meals for students and leading the front-line team.
You will drive standards, monitor budgets and performance, ensure health and safety compliance, and build strong relationships with clients, students, and colleagues in a busy school environment.

We are seeking a Catering Supervisor whose primary focus is on delivering great food for students while leading the day to day catering operation within a school environment.
You will be responsible for setting and driving standards, managing performance against agreed budgets and targets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
We are looking for a positive and proactive leader who can motivate a front-line catering team, build strong relationships with clients and students, and deliver a high-quality customer-focused food service.
Manage the daily school catering operation, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, promotion, and customer service.
Lead, motivate, train, and support a team of front-line employees in line with company policies and procedures.
Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture, including risk assessments, accident reporting, and compliance with legislation.
Ensure food safety, personal hygiene standard, and compliance with company food policies, including special diets and allergy requirements.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, customers, students, and colleagues.
Monitor sales, meal uptake, waste levels, portion control, and operational performance to support business objectives.
Maintain accurate operational records, including timesheets, stock sheets, training records, sales information, and meal numbers.
Ensure efficient and economical use of resources while supporting continuous improvement and change initiatives.
Understanding of school catering and excellent food preparation and cooking skills.
Acceptable level of understanding of health and safety and accident prevention.
Ability to demonstrate understanding of profit and loss.
Effective communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, administrative, and organisational skills.
Good understanding of kitchen software, such as Cypad, or willingness to learn.
Ability to build strong relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues.
