Job summary

Macclesfield College invites a proactive Business Development Executive to support the Work Based Learning team and grow employer partnerships across the College. You will help ensure value for money while aligning with the College's mission and values.

You will contribute to business planning, work with Directors, and enable delivery of employer-focused development within the Faculty of Enterprise and Services. A strong services mindset is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development within education or employability sectors.
  • Ability to establish and grow relationships with employers and partners.
  • Strong planning, monitoring and review competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Reflect the college's vision and values in all activities.
  • Support the Work Based Learning Manager and Directors in planning and reviews.
  • Develop and grow employer accounts aligned with the Strategic Plan.
  • Contribute to team development and training activities.
  • Drive a cross-College approach to meet employer workplace development needs.

THE ROLE:

To provide support to the Work Based Learning Team in order to ensure that the provision:

  • Meetstheneedsoflearners,employersandotherstakeholders.
  • Iseffective,efficientandprovideexcellentvalueformoney.
  • Reflectsthevision,mission,aimsandvaluesofthecollege.

The post-holder will be a member of the Faculty of Enterprise and Services within the Work Based Learning area.

MAIN DUTIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
  • Reflect the vision, mission, aims and values of the college.
  • Support fully at all times the College’s Aims and Objectives.
  • Contribute to business planning, monitoring and review in conjunction with the Work Based Learning Manager and Directors.
  • Contribute to team development and training activities.
  • Develop and grow key employer accounts in line with the College’s Strategic Plan and Work- Based Learning and to meet agreed
  • targets for activity.
  • Develop and sustain a cross College approach and drive for meeting employer workplace development needs.
