Job summary

St Bede’s Catholic School and Sixth Form College, part of Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, is seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our facilities team.

The role is 30 hours per week, full-time and permanent. You will perform cleaning duties to the highest standards and supervise other cleaning staff, ensuring a safe and well-presented environment across the school site. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a school environment (preferred).
• Ability to supervise and coordinate a small team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties to a high standard according to the cleaning specification.
• Supervise other cleaning staff within the school.

The successful applicant will fulfil cleaning responsibilities in accordance with the relevant cleaning specification to provide a high standard of service and a safe clean environment. They will also supervise other cleaning staff within the school.
