Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is offering a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice role in the UK. You will support day-to-day running, assist customers, and work with the team to ensure safe, efficient service while completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Duration is typically 15 months with training delivered alongside the job. You will build customer service skills, learn stock handling, and gain hands-on experience in a busy pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, desired but not essential as part of the course.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Apprenticeship delivered alongside the job.
• Commitment to contracted working hours and guided learning hours.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service

Future Prospects

£25,272 Per Annum (subject to confirmation) pro-rata for part time
