Job summary

My Life Legacy is seeking a friendly Catering and Hospitality Assistant to join the Stable Door Cafe in Standish on a part-time, zero-hour basis. You will welcome customers, serve a range of foods and drinks, keep the cafe tidy and support with food prep and stock control.

Whether you have existing catering experience or wish to develop skills, you’ll be part of a busy team delivering excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere, with opportunities to grow within the organisation.

What will you be doing?

• Working within our Stable Door Cafe in Standish.
• Welcoming customers and providing friendly, helpful service.
• Preparing and serving a range of delicious food, cakes, desserts and hot drinks.
• Keeping Stable Door Cafe clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Supporting with food preparation, stock control and general catering duties.
• Working as part of a team to ensure our customers have a great experience.
• An opportunity to grow and develop

This role offers more than just working in a cafe! There will also be opportunities to get involved in supporting our members with their Catering and Hospitality Pathway in the future, helping them to build their own skills, confidence and experience.

You’ll have the chance to develop your own knowledge, gain valuable experience and explore new opportunities within catering and hospitality.
