Job summary

SSE is offering a Project Management Summer Placement Programme across multiple locations in the UK, including Aberdeen and Inverness. You will join a structured placement that develops core project management skills in a real infrastructure environment.

Applicants should be in their second year (or penultimate year if pursuing a Masters) and intend to return to university after the placement. Disciplines include Project Management, Civil, Electrical and more.

• Must be in at least second year of an undergraduate degree; penultimate year if Masters and plan to return after placement.

Responsibilities

At SSE, project management plays a vital role in delivering major infrastructure investments, capital projects and operational improvements across our business helping deliver large-scale transmission projects, our project teams work with a wide range of stakeholders to turn ambitious plans into successful outcomes.

Our Project Management Summer Placement Programme is designed for individuals who want to develop professional project management expertise while making a real impact from day one.

What we're looking for

You'll be in at least second year of your undergraduate degree. If studying a Masters you should be in your penultimate year and intending to return to university following the completion of your placement.
