As a Diagnostic Technician you will carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics, identify faults, interpret data and report findings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Highly Skilled Vehicle Technician essential.
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and fault-finding systems.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnostic knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment.
• Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Interpret fault codes, live data, wiring diagrams and technical information.
• Conduct systematic fault-finding to determine root causes of complex issues.
• Complete diagnostic reports detailing findings and recommended repairs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other technicians.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs as necessary.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to high standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs.
