Job summary

KEITS Training Services Ltd is seeking a Doggy Daycare Assistant Apprentice for our Maison Des Animaux site. You will work as part of a busy team in a 40-acre countryside setting, observing dogs, keeping them safe, and ensuring positive interactions in all weathers.

You will entertain dogs with games and walks, assist with feeding and cleaning duties, and help with end-of-day cleaning and disinfection. Customer interaction will grow as you progress, including booking in and checking out dogs.

Responsibilities

• Observe dogs at all times to keep them safe and stress free and ensuring they are interacting well with each other.
• Keep dogs entertained throughout the day by paying games and walking them.
• Clean up dog mess as well as feeding those who need it.
• At the end of the day, help clean and disinfect the day care centre, toys, bowls and blankets.
• Interact with customers, booking dogs in and checking them out as you progress.

Doggy Daycare Assistant Apprentice (Maison Des Animaux)

We provide quality day care and boarding based on our farm which is set within 40acres of countryside. We have excellent facilities to keep the dogs in our care safe and entertained during their stay, which include the bespoke day care centre, grooming salon and secure field. We are a forward thinking and have many other projects and initiatives that we are working on to improve and develop the business. This job will have a rough start date of 5th October. You will be working as part of our team in our busy day care centre, with lots of vocal and playful dogs of all breeds and sizes, in all weathers:

You will be observing the dogs at all time to keep them safe and stress free and ensuring they are interacting well with each other.

You will keep them entertained throughout the day by paying games and walking them.

You will also be cleaning up their mess as well as feeding those who need it.
