Job summary

GI Group Main Account is seeking multiple Fabricator Welders in Nottingham to contribute to bespoke metal components across engineering projects. You will fabricate from scratch, weld using MIG up to 100mm, read drawings, and operate guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and grinders.

Precision and adherence to specifications are essential. You’ll join a team on day or night shifts with overtime paid at a premium; immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabricating and welding within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Skilled in MIG welding; additional welding methods a bonus.

We are seeking multiple Fabricator Welders to join our well established manufacturing client in Nottingham. You'll be instrumental in the fabrication and welding of bespoke metal components, contributing to high-quality engineering projects across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate metal structures and components from scratch
• Using MIG welding techniques on gauges up to 100mm
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and grinders
• Measure, cut, and assemble steel and other metals to exact tolerances
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications

• Day Shift
  • Up to £18.00ph depending on experience
  • 07: 00 - 16.00 Monday - Friday
• Night Shift
  • Up to £23.00ph depending on experience
  • 18:00 - 04:30 Monday - Thursday
• Long term stable work

• Ample of overtime available paid at a premium!
