Job summary

Randstad CPE is partnering with a large global manufacturer to recruit an Order Processing Specialist for an on-site role in Horsham. This 12-month contract offers an immediate start and requires meticulous order entry and compliance with SOPs and Health & Safety policies.

You will handle orders using the Global Project Management System, ensure accuracy of all documents, and collaborate with multiple departments to meet KPIs and client expectations.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent including Mathematics and English.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly with Excel and Data Entry.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate tasks.
• Experience mentoring others in a team environment.
• Background in an operational GMP environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently use the Global Project Management System to create and approve orders.
• Ensure orders and paperwork are accurate and complete.
• Maintain SOPs and Health & Safety compliance through training.
• Meet KPIs and satisfy internal/external client expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiencies.
• Communicate with other departments and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as directed by the Line Manager.

Are you a highly organised professional with a sharp eye for detail who thrives in a fast-paced environment?

We are actively partnering with a large global manufacturer to recruit a dedicated Order Processing Specialist to join their on-site team in Horsham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a 12-month contract with an industry leader, offering an immediate start for the right candidate.

This role is critical to the smooth operation of the business. You will work under the direction of the Order Processing Team Leader to submit client orders and ensure all requirements and specifications are perfectly met.

The Details

Pay Rate: £14.68 per hour

Hours: 38.75 hours per week, working days from Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 17:00

Location & Workplace: 100% Onsite in Horsham

Duration: 12 months (ASAP start)

What You Will Do

• Proficiently utilise the large global manufacturer's systems to create and approve orders within their Global Project Management System
• Ensure that all submitted orders and associated paperwork are completely accurate
• Maintain strict compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health and Safety Policies through ongoing training and refresher programs
• Meet essential Key Performance Indicators and ensure both internal and external client expectations are satisfied.
• Highlight opportunities to improve process efficiencies to help achieve broader business objectives
• Communicate effectively with other departments and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as required by your Line Manager

What We Are Looking For

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications/experience, specifically including Mathematics and English
• Strong computer literacy, particularly with Excel and Data Entry
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• A high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• The ability to plan, prioritise, and coordinate tasks successfully
• A demonstrated ability to effectively guide, coach, and mentor others
• Previous background working within an operational environment or a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment
