Job summary

GXO Logistics Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Class 1 Driver to join its nights delivery team. This full-time, permanent role involves trunking to regional sites and loading materials for showrooms and warehouses.

You will work 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start windows between 15:30 and 17:30, prioritising health and safety, punctuality and meeting customer-specific requirements while delivering high-quality products.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• A valid Driver Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• You’ll be flexible on start times.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be working nights, on average 9-12 hours per shift.
• Trunking to Ecclefechan, Penrith and Runcorn for trailer swaps.
• Loading Chipboard from Auchinleck.
• Prioritise health and safety compliance, meet customer-specific requirements, and maintain punctuality for on-time deliveries.
• Attend relevant training and support ongoing improvement initiatives.

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 Driver to work Nights, Monday to Friday, joining our delivery team in Bellshill for our prestigious customer, Howdens ML4 1RR.

You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, working on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working with the start time window between 15:30 and 17:30 you will be responsible for delivering products to warehouses and showrooms.

£1.62 per hour night premium

Overtime paid daily after 9 hours
