What you'll do as a Shift Operator
Configure and operate satellite communications, tracking, recording, and remote-control systems to support continuous operations.
Maintain routine daily operation of communications systems and operational areas.
Assist with routine maintenance activities, system checks, testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
Complete operational documentation and maintain high standards of operational security.
Support technicians as a safety person when required and follow direction from operational leads and supervisors.
Contribute to the training and development of new colleagues while maintaining safe and tidy working environments.
Does this sound like you?
GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English.
Experience working within an electronic engineering or technical operational environment.
Good knowledge of Microsoft applications and strong computer literacy skills.
Ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance prior to employment.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive company vehicles and undertake specialist training requirements.
