Job summary

Senad Group’s Orchard End in Hereford is seeking a Lead Care Practitioner to manage a small team of Support Workers and ensure shifts run smoothly. You will conduct and properly record regular supervisions for all staff in accordance with current guidelines.

The role requires a minimum of two years right to work in the UK, at least one year of experience with adults with severe learning difficulties, a Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent, and a valid driving licence.

What does the role of Lead Care Practitioner involve?

As a Lead Care Practitioner you will manage a small team of Support Worker’s ensuring each shift runs smoothly and effectively.

You will be responsible for conducting and properly recording regular supervisions for all team members in accordance with current guidelines.

• Minimum of one year’s previous experience of working with adults with severe learning difficulties and who can present challenging behaviours.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties
• A natural respect for the dignity and individuality of each resident and an ability to promote these values within your team of staff
• A valid current driving licence
• Previous experience of managing a small team of staff and delegation of workload
• Previous experience of good supervision and supervision training.
• Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent
