Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates Ltd is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join a Children in Need Team on a hybrid basis. The role requires a Social Work qualification and post-qualification experience, with emphasis on court work and safeguarding duties.

You will conduct home visits every six weeks, develop and review care plans every twelve weeks, and participate in IPCP meetings to determine the best outcomes for each child. Driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
• Ability to complete court work and protect children.
• Extensive CP experience and robust assessment skills.

The team work in partnership with the children and their families to understand the support that they need to live safely and happily. Creating plans for the children and the families will be made and reviewed every 12 weeks in this role. About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years' experience is required to be deemed suitable for this role. The ability to complete court work and protect the children is essential in this role. Extensive assessment work, long term work and CP experience is part of the role. A valid and clean driving license and car is essential.
