Job summary

Veolia in Stoke is seeking a driver to join our dedicated team. You will typically work Monday to Friday, averaging 48 hours per week, with 4am starts, and occasional later starts to stay flexible.

You will drive to planned collection locations, manage on-board records, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure compliance with traffic laws while keeping the site clean. Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) license required.
• Digi / Tachograph Card required.
• Previous waste management experience preferred.
• RORO and Skip experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple commercial waste containers.
• Ensure all information is input into the onboard system and paperwork is kept up to date daily.
• Perform daily vehicle checks as per driver operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and legislation including weight of loads.
• Keep carriageway clean and promptly cleans spills.

Single person Daily Allowance: Paid Dependant on the Route £41.16

What you'll be doing;

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up
