Job summary

HOMAG is seeking a machine demonstrator / operator trainer to join our team at the Castle Donington headquarters. You will demonstrate a wide range of industrial woodworking machinery to prospective buyers and provide operator training on machine software packages.

The role also includes telephone and online support for customers and ongoing showroom maintenance. Knowledge of HOMAG machine operating systems would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in demonstrating industrial woodworking machinery.
• Ability to train operators on machine software packages.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to maintain showroom appearance and organization.
• Knowledge of HOMAG machine operating systems is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

The role includes demonstrating the usage of a wide range of industrial woodworking machinery to prospective buyers as well as providing operator training on the machine software packages. Additional responsibilities include providing telephone and on-line support for customers and maintenance of the showroom appearance on an ongoing basis. Knowledge of HOMAG machine operating systems would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
