Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic for a service centre in Hay-on-Wye. You will be motivated, able to work on your own initiative, and carry out servicing, repairs, MOT testing and diagnostic duties across a variety of vehicles.

The role offers 28 days of annual leave, access to in-house training and potential career progression within a friendly, family-run garage that has served the community for over 40 years.

Qualifications

• Qualified automotive technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Current UK driving licence.
• Dedicated and committed approach.
• Own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• MOT testing.
• Diagnostics to identify vehicle faults.
• Ensure paperwork is completed to high standards.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a service centre located in Hay-on-Wye.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• 28 days annual leave (including the bank holidays).
• Access to in-house training and potential career progression.
• Opportunity to work with a highly commended local family-run garage operating for over 40+ years.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements:

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
• Your own Vehicle Technician tools

The salary of this role is up to £42,500 basic.

Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.
