Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a structural graduate design engineer in Hatfield to join a regional civil consultancy. You will work on projects from £8m to £30m, contribute to refurbishment and new build schemes, and use modern design technology including BIM.

Full CPD training and support toward chartership are provided, with emphasis on developing as a junior engineer and progressing within the firm.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MEng or MSc in structural engineering with a strong academic record.
• Demonstrable passion for building structures and design throughout studies.
• Interest in progressing towards chartership with recognised institutes.

This regional civil structural consultancy with a broad spread of projects are currently seeking to employ a structural graduate design engineer who is seeking their first job in the industry or an engineer seeking their second role to progress towards chartership.

As a practice they work on large scale developments across the UK and you will be joining a team of engineers and technicians to work on projects from £8m to £30m. They work on refurbishment and new build projects, employ the latest design technology and are renowned for their developmental approach to the use of BIM within the construction process.

Along with complex projects they will offer full CPD training and support to chartership with either institute.

To be considered for the shortlist you will have an appropriate MEng or MSc, have a strong academic background (Most likely 1st class honours and strong A Level results) and be able to demonstrate a passion for building structures and design throughout your academics.
