Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumber Multi-Trade to join our housing contractor team, covering Harrow, Stanmore, Edgware and Northolt. You will perform reactive and planned plumbing maintenance in occupied and vacant properties, including installing and repairing baths, sinks, toilets, showers, taps and pipework.

You will also carry out basic carpentry and tiling, respond to emergencies, communicate with tenants, maintain safety, use a PDA for tasks, and join a rotational on-call

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and basic DBS check.

Job description

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm

We have an opportunity for an experienced Plumber Multi-Trade to join a growing housing contractor, working in partnership with Harrow Council and covering Harrow, Stanmore, Edgware, and Northolt.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out reactive and planned plumbing maintenance in occupied and vacant properties, including installing and repairing baths, sinks, toilets, showers, taps, and pipework.

Undertaking minor multi-trade tasks such as basic carpentry, plaster patching, and wall or floor tiling to complete repair works to a high standard.

Responding to emergency plumbing situations such as leaks, blocked waste systems, or loss of water supply, ensuring prompt and safe resolutions.

Communicating professionally with tenants, ensuring minimal disruption during works.

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Using a PDA to manage daily tasks, updates, and job completions.

Operating and maintaining tools and equipment responsibly.

Participating in a rotational on-call rota to support emergency repairs outside normal working hours.

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence (manual)

Basic DBS Check

Company vehicle, fuel card, and uniform included as part of the role package.

Overtime opportunities available, including evenings and weekends.

Participation in a rotational on-call schedule providing out of hours support for emergency repairs.
