Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is seeking two Fire Surveyors to help deliver safe, compliant homes for our residents in London.

You’ll undertake building and technical surveys to assess condition, identify defects and evaluate risk, and produce clear specifications, briefs, drawings and schedules of work to support procurement and delivery of programmes. Hybrid working with base locations across England is offered, with occasional travel to other Clarion offices as required.

Fire Surveyor

Company: Clarion Housing Group

Salary: £50,849 to £63,561 a year

Hours: 36 hours per week – flexible options considered

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: London – Corsica Street

We’re looking for 2 Fire Surveyor’s to play a key role in delivering safe, compliant homes for our residents.

You’ll ensure fire safety works are delivered to the required standards, producing clear specifications to address fire risk assessment recommendations and mitigate risk across a range of buildings. Using your expertise, you’ll apply current and historical guidance, identify best practice and respond to emerging legislative changes.

You’ll undertake building and technical surveys to assess condition, identify defects and evaluate risk, including across complex sites. You’ll make informed recommendations for repair, improvement or new works, ensuring solutions are practical and risk-focused, and provide professional advice on construction regulations and best practice.

You’ll also develop specifications and technical documentation, such as briefs, drawings and schedules of work; to support the procurement and delivery of programmes.

With hybrid working, base locations across England and flexible working arrangements this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for!

Occasional travel may be required with attendance at your designated office base and occasional travel to other Clarion offices as and when required.
