ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager for a permanent, hybrid role based in Sutton. You will lead the annual closing process and in-year financial reporting, working with senior officers and supporting the Head of Financial Reporting & Control.

As part of the Shared Finance Service, you will guide systems and controls, contribute to financial integrity for Kingston and Sutton, and provide inspirational leadership to the senior team.

Job description

Financial Reporting Manager (Hybrid) needed in Sutton, £60,393 PA - Reference: OR118382

• The role is hybrid with time split between working on site 2 days per week (or more) and working from home up to 3 days per week. The expectation is for the postholder to work in the Sutton office once per week and in the Kingston office once per week. The post currently has 2 direct reports.
• The Shared Finance Service ambition is to add value, inspire success and this role is part of the Shared Finance Service (SFS) collectively responsible for delivering SFS activities to realise this ambition.
• The role provides direct support to the Head of Financial Reporting & Control and may be required to deputise as required.
• The post holder is required to support the Head of Financial Reporting & Control to maintain the integrity of financial records and accounts for Kingston and Sutton.
• The post holder will take responsibility for leading and managing the annual closing process and in year financial reporting to senior officers.
• The post holder will also provide leadership to the systems and control functions.
• The post holder will work as part of the Senior Leadership Team of the service to provide inspirational leadership and drive cultural change to ensure the service reflects the INSPIRE values and achieves excellent outcomes.

This is a full time role on a Permanent basis
