Job summary

Veolia in Grangemouth seeks a site operative with experience in confined spaces and high pressure jetting. You will work on industrial facilities, with potential travel and occasional away‑from‑home assignments. The role includes on‑site duties and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have previous industrial services experience.
• Must have high pressure water jetting experience.
• Confined space experience required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, or away from home.

Responsibilities

• Work in confined spaces for tasks such as tank cleaning.
• Carry out pressure jetting activities using equipment from towable rigs to High Flow units.
• Provide site support services including Tankering, Stand-by, ERT Cover.
• Support emergency response call out rota.
• Assist on large turnarounds on UK Tier 1 COMAH sites and overseas projects.

Salary: Basic pay of £14ph - projected salary of £32,000 - £42,000

Overtime - Weekday and Saturday = Time & half and Sundays = Double Time.

Location: Grangemouth, FK3 9XB - plus working away from home when required (accommodation and meal allowance provided)

In this role, we'll provide you with training in Breathing Apparatus, Safety Awareness, Chemical Awareness, Understanding RAMS, First Aid and NVQ level 2 Team Leading (if applicable).

What you'll be doing;

• Working in confined spaces for tasks such as tank cleaning
• Pressure Jetting activities using equipment from towable rigs to High Flow units
• Providing site support services, including Tankering, Stand‑by, ERT Cover
• Supporting the businesses "Emergency Response" call out rota
• Supporting large turnaround on projects throughout the UK on Tier 1 COMAH sites and with overseas Industrial Site Services work in Europe

What we're looking for;

• Must have previous industrial services, high pressure jet washing, confined space experience
• Must be able to work flexible hours, evenings, nights, weekends or away from home on occasions
• City & Guilds High Risk Confined Space qualified
• WJA High Pressure Water Jetting SA + Modules
• Full Driving licence
