Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking Home Delivery Drivers in Glasgow to support a leading UK logistics client delivering to customer homes on a Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule. You will work in a two-person crew, handle product deliveries, and assist with in-home placement and related paperwork.

Applicants should have a Full UK Driving Licence, UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, and be comfortable with light to moderate lifting.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and 12 months driving experience essential.
• Must hold UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards.
• No endorsements: up to 6 points; DD/TT/DR/CD/IN not accepted.
• Customer-facing role with good English required.
• UK resident and able to travel to the site for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Driving a van in a two-person crew.
• Delivering products to customer homes.
• Carrying items to requested rooms (heavy lifting).
• Completing PoD paperwork correctly.
• Vehicle checks and standard paperwork completion.

Home Delivery Driver - The role & responsibilities:

• Driving a Van
• Working in a 2 Person Crew
• Delivering products to Customer Homes
• Carrying items in to the required rooms (heavy lifting required)
• Ensuring PoD paperwork is completed properly
• Vehicle checks and industry standard paperwork completion

This is a Customer facing role, so we are looking for people with a friendly, helpful demeanor who are well presented and have a good grasp of the English language.

Working Hours:

Working days are Tuesday to Saturday and you must be able to complete shifts on these days.

About you:

You will have your Van Driver Driving Licence and previous experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
