Job summary

Compass Independent Living is seeking a part-time, self-employed Personal Assistant to support an elderly woman in Dorset. You will assist with dressing, showering, and meal preparation, and provide additional support as needed to help her live independently.

The role includes Friday 10.00am–11.00am, two weekends per month (one am and one pm slot; 3 weekends in a 5-week month) with potential for extra hours later in September. DBS and HMRC UTR, along with insurance evidence, are required.

Qualifications

• Proof of HMRC registration (UTR number) required.
• Evidence of DBS clearance required.
• Insurance coverage evidence required.

Responsibilities

• Help with dressing and undressing.
• Assist with showering.
• Assist with preparing and clearing meals (microwave meals; dishwasher available).
• Provide other support as necessary.

Friday – 10.00am – 11.00am

2 x weekends per month 1 hour am and 1 hour pm – will be 3 x weekends in a 5 – week month – times to be discussed

Possibility of additional hours in late September subject to agreement.

Pay:

£20.00 per hour weekdays

£20.00 per hour weekends and bank holidays
