Nothing But Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Occupational Health Physician for a hybrid role in Gateshead. The position offers flexibility with a minimum of two days per week and can expand to full-time hours based on availability.

You will provide medical advice across private and public sectors, manage sickness absence, advise insurers, and ensure adherence to clinical procedures. GMC registration and HAVS qualifications required; rail experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• Current GMC registration and licence to practise in the UK.
• A minimum of 2 years' demonstrable experience in a similar role within the private sector.
• Strong understanding of employment law.
• HAVS testing qualifications are essential; IRR/Asbestos qualifications are desirable.
• Rail work experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Outlook and Word; knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert medical advice to organisations on occupational health issues, from pre-employment assessments to sickness absence management and ill health retirement.
• Advise insurers on disability claims and support pension trustees in assessing fitness for pension schemes and ill health retirement cases.
• Utilise internal medical records systems to maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical procedures.
• Offer health surveillance services and act as a professional witness in judicial environments, such as employment tribunals.
• Collaborate with administrators and team leaders to address client and patient queries effectively.
