Nothing But Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Occupational Health Physician to join in Cardiff on a 0.6 FTE basis (3 days per week).

You will provide expert medical advice for pre-employment assessments, sickness absence management and ill health retirement across diverse industries.

Formación

• Current GMC registration and licence to practise in the UK.
• Minimum 2 years' demonstrable experience in a similar role within the private sector.
• Strong understanding of employment law.
• HAVS Tier 4 qualification is preferred.
• Experience working with rail clients is desirable.
• Proficient in Outlook and Word; knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Advise insurers on disability claims and support pension trustees in assessing fitness for pension schemes and ill health retirement cases.
• Utilise internal medical records systems to maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical procedures.
• Offer health surveillance services and act as a professional witness in judicial environments, such as employment tribunals.
• Collaborate with administrators and team leaders to address client and patient queries effectively.
