Job summary

The Gainsborough Academy in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our dynamic team and help every student achieve exceptional progress. You will plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet the National Curriculum and bring it to life.

You will tailor instruction to pupils’ needs, provide constructive assessment and feedback, monitor progress, and collaborate with parents to set ambitious learning targets while safeguarding and supporting professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Deliver lessons that meet and enliven the National Curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons.

  • Progress Monitoring: Meticulously assess, record, and report on pupil development and attainment in strict accordance with School policy.
  • Mentoring: Collaborate with pupils and parents to set ambitious, achievable short-term learning targets that take prior attainment into account.
