Job summary

Harbour Hotels is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team in the South. You will need to stay organised and work quickly to support our chefs, unload stock, keep the kitchen spotless, and manage cleaning duties and dishwashing.

A good command of English is essential to communicate with the team and follow procedures. This role offers generous benefits and opportunities within Harbour Hotels across multiple properties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload and put away stock correctly.
• Keep the kitchen clean and tidy throughout shifts.
• Empty bins and sweep/mop floors as required.
• Ensure equipment is stored away properly and pots/pans are washed.
• Operate the dishwasher and assist with washing up.

The role…

We have a superb opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join the team. As Kitchen Porter you will need to be well organised and be able to work fast to keep the pots and pans clean for the chefs. The duties may include, unloading and putting away stock correctly, keeping the kitchen clean, emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors. The kitchen porter will make sure all the equipment is put away correctly, the washing up of pans, pots and operating the dishwasher machine. A good command of the English language is essential.
